Story: Race for Glory: Audi vs Lancia starts when Italian racing manager Cesare Fiorio (Scamarcio) wants to take the battle on the track to the next level. However, his latest Lancia doesn’t match up to Roland Gumpert’s (Bruhl) latest Audi.

As Cesare searches for the best solution to challenge Roland. However, it sees him pushing the most trusted people around him, including his best driver Walter Rohrl (Bruch) to their limits.

Verdict on Race for Glory: Audi vs Lancia

Race for Glory: Audi vs Lancia is a sporting drama following the battle between the two racing teams. It mostly focuses on Cesare Fiorio’s challenge to get back on top of the sport. All while facing different challenges which risk everything in the sport.

This movie looks to capture the same magic ‘Le Mans 66’ had. Sadly, it doesn’t reach the same level as it spends more time talking about the technical side of building a car, over the racing of the cars. This is based on the real battle between the two teams, but everything seems to feel more respectful. Rather than giving us a bitter battle which would add a lot of drama to the story. This ends up being entertaining on a basic sports drama level, but will never challenge the biggest in the racing era.
