THE SHOWS Quantico
Caught up with the rest of my awesome Sunday women last night. First up was Quantico where more and more crazy secrets were revealed. How many of you guys are watching this one? I really don't want to ruin anything but we just have to talk about the 2 huge reveals. Sooooo....SPOILER ALERT: Okay for those of you who stuck around. OMG Simon found out about the twins! That was hilarious and awesome all at the same time. Bigger though was that Shelby's sleeping with Caleb's DADDY who's also the big FBI bossman. Bigger than that...Caleb found out about his Dad and his girl on the job watching surveillance tapes! Seemed a little too easy for Simon to hook Alex up to Caleb's screens but it's TV so, I went with it. Also an awesome personal surprise for me... my really close friend directed Sunday's episode and forgot to tell me. Hoping he gets another shot so I can fly up to Montreal and meet the cast! Congrats Pete! Great job!
The Good Wife
The Howard stuff and even the legal stuff with Alicia was sort of a bore Sunday night. Eli working in a closet and stacking reams of paper on his desk so that he could hear what was going on in Peter's office was classic, but honestly, now, we're just waiting, waiting for Alicia and Jason to kick Grace out of the apartment and get BUSY. How in the world can we still not have any sort of explanation as to why Grace no longer goes to school and seems to have her CPA in accounting? Where is her brother in all of this? When does Alicia get her hair cut and colored? Wouldn't her co-op board have a problem with her having clients coming in and out of the building all day and night? Does she live in a doorman building? People seem to get in and out pretty easily in that place. Cary really needs to quit the firm and go back to Alicia, although he'd have to work out of her kitchen at this point. Does Alicia get her red wine delivered? She never seems to run out and yet when does she have time to pick any up? So many unanswered questions. I think they should provide all this information on a separate web series called: Alicia Florick "Off the Clock."  Thoughts?
THE OTHER STUFF
-For anyone completely out of the loop, the best part of Halloween is now the Monday AFTER Halloween. This is the day Jimmy Kimmel's Halloween prank video is released. Parents all across this great country of ours freak their kids out by telling them that they ate all of their Halloween candy all for the sake of comedy. I don't know about you, but I'm very grateful to Jimmy and all of the parents across the nation for making keeping the tradition alive year after year. It's really all I had to look forward to in the month of October since my Yankees were out of the playoffs. The wait is over here it is, enjoy:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1pTZTHZF4E
-Correct me if I'm wrong here. First we had Star Trek, then we had Star Trek:Next Generation, then we had Star Trek: Deep Space 9 and of course we've had a bunch of Star Trek movies. Do we really need (or want) another Star Trek TV show? CBS seems to think we do. I've never been in to any of the Star Trek stuff, but my husband was. I haven't had chance to get his opinion. My guess is that if it's done well, like Gotham and Daredevil, he's in. If not, like S.H.I.E.L.D. and Supergirl, he's out. CBS is going to release the first run ep on the linear network and then some episodes on their All Access App. Again, if done right, those interested will follow...
-Tuesday's Trivia Question: Who played Jean Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation and what show does he currently star in?
