Protein Packed Pancakes

Is it possible to have protein packed pancakes. Absolutely, yes! With the right ingredients you have your healthy pancake and can eat it too!

Protein Pancake Recipe

This is a pancake recipe packed with protein. How is this possible? Well, if you choose your ingredients carefully, it can be done.

High Protein Pancakes

These high protein pancakes have bone broth in them. Now, don't go thinking they're savory or that the flavor is compromised.

Heavens no! You have no idea whatsoever that there's Kettle and Fire pasture raised chicken bone broth in the batter.

Easy Protein Pancakes

Another option with this recipe is for you to adjust to your needs. I used buttermilk. If you'd prefer to use a nut based milk or say coconut milk, I do believe it would be no problem.

Another swap might be gluten free flour. I'd suggest you use a one-to-one gluten free flour mix like Bob's Red Mill Paleo Baking flour.

No Banana Protein Pancakes

Another key to making really good pancakes is the pan you use.

Mine is a non-stick green pan from Amazon, and I absolutely LOVE it! Here's link to check it out. I use it for lots of things including omelets, crepes and French Scrambled Eggs!

How to Add Protein to Pancakes without Protein Powder

While I added a scoop of FlavCity's Vanilla Protein Supplement, which is full of protein, I also used the Kettle & Fire chicken bone broth. The bone broth is perfect for the liquid needed in the recipe. And, in combination with the buttermilk, the nutrition is enhanced.

Be sure to check out my 20% discount on your Kettle and Fire bone broth order. That's really a great deal. And, use my code, ALLYSKITCHEN, at checkout for these big savings!

These boxes of bone broth and bone broth soup are perfect for your pantry because you'll see that you're using them all the time for so many things. And, they have a pretty good shelf life, so stock up!

How to Make Protein Pancakes

This recipe for pancakes can really be a recipe for a dessert 'cake' too. It's so simple to make. You have dry and wet ingredients. That's it.

Once they're blended, well, it's magic. You get your cake. You could also use this recipe batter for muffins! Don't think it's just for pancakes.

And, of course, waffles!

Protein Fluffy Pancakes

These pancakes really are fluffy and puff up like a balloon! And, you want to eat them right off the pan because they're best when hot and steamy!

You decide on the size of your pancake. I love the large size and that's all you need, ONE! With fresh fruit and your other toppings, it's a belly filler!

But, don't forget to take a peek at some of my other pancake recipes. Oh, yes, there are some mighty tasty ones!
