Proposed Law: Pregnant Women Dont Need to Wait

By Gldmeier @gldmeier
MK Yosef Jabareen (UAL) has proposed a law that would allow pregnant women to cut to the front of the line when waiting for any public service. Public service is being defined as any service provided by a person to the public by a public authority. The service provider will have the right to ask for a letter from a doctor confirming her status as being pregnant.
The proposal passed its initial vote 42-0 and will be prepared for further readings in Knesset.
