“Pretty Girls” Not A Hit – Iggy Slams Britney Spears

Pretty Girls Album CoverYou would think if you put together two huge superstars in music together to work on a song it would be a huge hit.  that was not the case for the summer song “Pretty Girls” by Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea.

The throw down between the two singers happened this past week when Iggy did a Twitter Q&A.  During this Q&A fans mentioned how poorly the song did on the charts.  To note the best that the song did on the Billboard 100 Chart was only the 29th spot.

Iggy said it was hard for the song to do well when they didn’t do additional promotion/tv promotion for it.

I’m sorry but if a song is good it wouldn’t be that hard to get it up on the charts with the way the internet and social media is now days.   You only need to push on these outlets when whatever you are working on is horrible.  In this case the song was horrible I mean I would hear it and I need to turn the radio station right away.  That is how bad the song is.

Spears did make a small remark on what Iggy said by saying she’s happy to be heading back to Vegas to perform a few more shows.

If you haven’t heard the song we have the video below.

What are your thoughts on the song and why it didn’t do well? Let us know!
