Verdict on Polite Society

Polite Society is an action comedy following a younger sister trying to save her older sister from an arranged marriage. However, nobody believes her when she believes her sister is in danger. All leading to her going on her own mission to save her using her determination to save her.

This is a very fun movie that dives into the changing culture behind arranged weddings. Along with the idea that any younger person has dreams that they may need to give up on. The two blend together to show a heist-like movie to save a loved one from danger. While certain elements are generic, it is the banter between friends and arguments between family that carry the heart and soul of this movie. Priya Kansara is the standout here, giving us a plucky, determined and action-packed performance.

Final ThoughtsPolite Society is a wickedly fun, action-packed comedy.
