Thoughts on Paydirt

Paydirt is a crime thriller that will see a disgraced sheriff who is looking to locate the money from a bust he believed would make his career instead of ruining it. We get to follow the ex-criminal look to reclaim what his crew earned and always being in control of the situation. Even when it looks like everything is spiralling out of control.

The film does feel like a mix of a heist and revenge film, which does make for an entertaining film throughout. While being willing to play a bit of fun with the grander scheme of what is going on. It might feel like a bit of a knock off of other more popular films, but it is easy to watch and will keep you guess as to who is on which side. The performances in the film are strong with Luke Goss playing the calm ‘Brit’ with a plan taking center stage.

Final Thoughts Paydirt is a clean and tidy thriller.
