Leaving the car in one of the car park before entering the village, we took a footpath towards the port.

I really liked the harmonious disorder patching grey, blue, red and green… The idea of a smooth place, houses getting close to each other and slowly invaded by vegetation.
Cornwall ports - there is a sense of community in these buildings, a peace contrasting with the grandness of the cliffs and coastal landscapes : a way to escape from the sea and its furors and beauties?
