Opinion Battles Year 2 Introduction to Players

We had a great year last year and with the new rules, new subjects and new players, it seems fitting to introduce the players.

First thing first though, the first subject is going to be Favourite Tarantino character? We are always open to more players so if you think you can beat Rob come and join in.

The Champion – Movie Rob

Movie Rob gives us numerous reviews on a daily basis, he also hosts Genre Guesstimation on a monthly basis where he takes ideas from fellow writers and dedicates a week to all films on that subject. We also co-hosted a Stephen King Blogathon through October. If you ever want a film review, just see this man’ site and you will be able to find nearly any subject or challenge him to watch one he hasn’t.

Runner Up – Khalid – The Blazing Reel

Khalid comes from The Blazing Reel who gives us wonderful reviews, his own awards, Top five lists and random reflections. Khalid was a consentient scorer through year one and with his dominating win in the final round this year he will be a player to watch out for next year around.

Third – Emma – Emmakwall (Explains it all)

Emma is best friend in the blog writing world, she gives us delightfully comic filled reviews and is always up to chat to all of the people that comment on the posts. She also tackles Original Sound Tracks through a range of films. We won’t go into her celebrity crushes though.

Drew – Drew’s Movie Reviews

Drew gives us plenty of reviews, he also looks at trailers and gives us his favorite movie quotes of the week. Last year Drew gave us a solid performance just missing out on the top three by the end of the year.

S.G. Liput – Rhyme and Reason

S.G. Liput gives us the most unique of all of the reviews involved in Opinion Battles because he turns his reviews into poetry before getting into his own views on the films. He gives us a very interest read that is something different to your normal reviews.

Jenna & Allie – Flicks Chicks

Jenna and Allie are two friends from Birmingham England who have one of my personal favorite style of reviews, the pair review films giving their own opinions on it make it feel like you are reading one of their conversation of the film they have just scene.

That Other Critic

That Other Critic gives all the films a grab between A – F to show how he rates the films. He came strong in the later rounds of opinion Battles and could be the surprise package for the new year’s rounds.

Kim – Tranquil Dreams

Kim is one of the most experienced writers involved in Opinion Battles, she covers film, books, baking & food, travels and mostly everyday events. In 2015 she joined David from That Moment In for Random Film Chats Podcast where the two and eventually Melissa from Creative Fox Den spend 30 minutes chatting about different films or subjects on film. Kim is a player that will never be afraid to pick a choice other people will overlook which always makes her choices very interesting in year one.

Tim – Filmfunkel

Tim gives us plenty of reviews over a full range of films, I do love to read the horror reviews because like me he will find the lesser known horrors as well as mixing them up with the big cinema films. Tim is a very consistent reviewer that will give you something fresh on a daily basis.

Summer – Serendipitous Anachronisms

Summer was our newest player who only took part in the final few rounds and someone I only had the pleasure of meeting late in the year in the writing world. Summer has a taste for history, fashion, music, dance, performance, fine art, literature and cinema and has an enjoyment of old films.

New Players

I am delighted to introduce all the people that might be coming in to joining the next years, these are subject to change depending on schedules, but can they beat our reigning champion?

Jen – Combustible Reviews
