No Nicki, No ...

Posted on the 02 January 2014 by Tlb Music Blog @TLB_Blog
Nicki Minaj made an almighty comeback on New Year's Eve, by dropping a remix to the powerfully used "Boss Ass Bitch" ... though, we can't say we were in as high spirits as some when it comes to this foul-mouthed freestyle, in which Nicki utterly humiliates herself and her peers ... take a listen.
No Nicki, No ...It begins on the same styling, and sound, as the original. Something that anyone who has Vine, or has at least seen a Vine, will have heard of ... but soon comes in the voice of Nicki ... and something about her has gained an arrogance and, to some, this is exactly what they had been asking for. However, for us, this is the complete opposite to how we think any female should carry herself in the industry and, if you listen into the lyrics carefully, she has absolutely tarnished any respect that she, or anyone else, could really have for her.
Our favourite, and probably the most satirical line, throughout its entirety has got to be "Clap, Clap, Clap for my Pussy, N***a", it's an absolute waste of everything she has created for herself, and the problem is, young girls are probably going to take this to heart an still see her as some sort of insane role model.
At 2:55, the whole song takes a strange turn too. Nicki starts to flow without any rhythm at all. She asks for money, tells us how she is coming for us, and just ruins absolutely bloody everything. There's absolutely nothing about this that we can praise. Her lyrics are poor, her lack of rhyme is laughable, her annoying Chicago-esque accent is grating ... and in turn, this says to us that Nicki has lost her flow, is shitting on her own career, and that this "comeback" is set to be nothing more than an absolute croc.
Paul.
