New Wave Milkshake IPA – Bieres Jukebox

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Bieres Jukebox subcontracted at Oshlag Brasserie & Distillerie in Montreal comes their "New Wave Milkshake IPA". Thanks to Cee of Beer & Other Shhh Podcast for this beer! The beer pours a very cloudy orange colour with a white head. The aroma consists of orange juice, tropical fruits like mango and pineapple and some mild lactose. The flavour is of orange juice, pineapple, mango, vanilla with some grain, resin, pine, lactose and a mild bitterness in the finish. The alcohol content comes in at 6.1% with an IBU of 50. This Milkshake IPA is not as sweet as some but it is quite on point with tones of fruit flavours and a lower than average bitterness. I really enjoyed this beer and am stoked I had the opportunity to try it out!

Commercial Description: No time for the flat iron! Take out your hairspray, adorn your prettiest magenta glitter vest and vibrate in tune with the hippest synthesizer in town! Jukebox New Wave Milkshake IPA is in the house! With its opaque orange juice-ish hue, its decadent tropical hoppiness and its luscious lactose and vanilla sweetness, it will knock the white socks off of even the most seasoned IPA enthusiast.
