NBC Renews ‘Undateable’, Defies Burn-Off Logic

Posted on the 01 August 2014 by Sirmac2 @macthemovieguy

NBC has picked up freshman comedy Undateable for a second season. Originally aired in the summer as part of a burn off (three episodes even aired in one night), the comedy outperformed many fall shows, and even other NBC summer burnoffs from years past. The network had no choice but to consider the option of renewing Undateable for a new season next summer. This marks the second burn-off renewal for NBC, which also picked up The Night Shift earlier.
