Nadan Chicken Curry

This Nadan Chicken Curry is a quick and easy Recipe. The taste is so rich and spicy. This recipe can be quoted as a bachelor recipe because it just as easy as that. This goes well with white rice, Pulao, Biriyani, Roti, Dosa and bread.

Ingredients:
Chicken- 1 kg
Curry Leaves- 1/2 cup
Oil- 6 tbsp
Cardamom- 3
Cinnamon sticks- 3 (1 inch)
Pepper corns- 5
Cumin- 1 tsp
Onion- 3 (Sliced thin)
Ginger Garlic Paste- 3 tbsp
Chilly Powder- 3 tbsp
Coriander Powder- 5 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Water- 200 ml
Method:


Heat oil in a pressure pan, add curry leaves, cinnamon, pepper corns, cardamom.
Fry for a minute and add cumin seeds.
Add sliced onion, salt and fry till onion turns translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste and toss till the raw smell goes.
Add chilly powder, coriander powder and stir in.
Meanwhile keep adding water little by little and stir the masala.
Cook the masala till the raw smell leaves.
Add 1 kg chicken and mix with masala.
Pressure cook for 1 whistle.
Open the lid of the cooker after the pressure comes down.
Heat it again and let it boil till the gravy thickens.
Once the gravy thickens put off the flame and transfer to serving bowl.
Serve hot with rice, biriyani or pulao.
