My All-time Favorite Workout – the Yoga Dvd’s I Use

By Lindsayleighbentley @lindsayLbentley

I used to get up every morning at 5am and go to the gym for 1 1/2 hrs.  I ate a low-fat, vegetarian diet (not bashing vegetarians, I just didn’t know how to do it right and substituted too many refined carbs for meat!) I was trying desperately to fit into a smaller size than is normal for my body and the result was love-handles and poor internal health.

Now, I eat an organic diet comprised mainly of vegetables, fruits, healthful raw dairy, grass-fed meats, pastured bird, butter, plenty of healthy fats, coconut oil..etc.  After having 3 children I am trimmer, stay at a steady, healthy weight, and have better muscle tone than ever before.

I only do Yoga for my workouts (except for the constant running around after my children and heavy lifting: i.e.: my 2 year old.)

Now, if you are one to believe (as I once did) that Yoga is boring, or just a bit of stretching, or doesn’t actually get you in really amazing shape, you may not have ever tried Power Yoga.

I don’t have a ton of time to explain today and I’m out of town and am supposed to be downstairs as we speak…and I won’t have internet service for the next week (Yie!!) but I wanted to get these out there for those who have been asking!

They are made by my personal friend, Joseph Stingley, who was my Yoga instructor in Dallas before we moved.  I was pumped to discover that he made the videos!!

The quality isn’t amazing, but the workout is!

Also, the girls in the videos are wearing CLOTHES!  Real, actual clothes that cover their bodies.  Can I get an amen?

Anyhoo, they are awesome (I don’t receive any sort of kick-back for sales, I just truly love this instructor!)

I have a friend who models and his Yoga classes kept her in swim-suit ready shape year round!!!  I mean, that’s enough for me!
