MORINGA LEAVES SOUP FOR BABIES , KIDS, EXPECTING MOMS AND LACTATING MOMS 

My 9 month old baby is a fussy eater. So my options for baby food recipes are less as she hardly eats more than a spoon or two. This drumstick leaves soup / moringa leaves soup can be a wholesome food to your baby. Not only for babies , this can be taken by expecting mothers , babies more than 6 months , lactating mothers , kids and women in general.

I have shared the soup recipe for babies below . The soup is watery in consistency and is sightly yellowish – orange in color. Adults can add more of pepper and onion if required .

  • Drumstick leaves / Moringa leaves - 1 cup
  • Moong Dal - 2 tsp.
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Tomato - 1 small
  • Boiled Rice - 2 to 3 tsp.
  • Pepper pods - 4
  • Cumin - 1 tsp.
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
Instructions
  1. Take a pressure cooker
  2. Add all the ingredients to it with 1 or 2 cups of water
  3. Turn the heat ON and cook it closed for 6-7 whistles
  4. Mash this mixture with the help of wooden spoon
  5. Strain the liquid out and the yummy nutritious moringa leaves soup is ready
