Growing up, my family was a huge fan of exploring model homes. If new tracts were near us, we visited them. My brother and I would run upstairs and choose “our rooms” while my parents picked up decor ideas and laughed while we played hide-and-seek and tried to conceal our footsteps. As I got older, I’d dash to the preteen girl’s room and read all the Tiger Beat magazines laid out as props. I guess JTT liked model homes too. It’s too bad we never met.
