Taken during the annual San Francisco Fleet Week airshow, one of the Blues solo pilots executes a high speed pass down the airshow box at mast height. First formed in 1946, the Blue Angels have been using the F/A-18 Hornet since 1986. These are usually the oldest jets in the fleet that have been taken out of frontline combat strike units as newer models are delivered. Nikon D7100 w/80-400mm, processing with Aperture.
