If you know me, you know I am obsessed with the show LOST on ABC. Last night was the finale and it was mind-blowing! Now that it's over, I am not sure what I will do to fill the void. I spent 6 seasons knowing that I would get to see Sawyer without his shirt on at least once a week!
LOST was certainly a 'thinking' person's show. It didn't just entertain, it made you think. THen it made your head hurt from thinking. Then you had to talk with other "losties" to make sure you were smart enough to figure things out. Now that it's over we are left with several questions including, "Was I smart enought to get it right?"
Here is what I think, right or wrong here goes:
I think the passengers on Oceanic 815 died after crashing on the island. What we watched was 6 seasons of "Limbo" for the passengers. They had some things to work out in their lives before they could "move on". Once they felt ready, they would all meet in that church and go to the light together. Some got there quicker than others. I think the Dharma folks and island originals actually interacted with the lost souls. Maybe they too were in limbo on the island. I still question that part.
I think Ben has not moved on yet. Leaving a door open for a spin-off? Perhaps!
Well it does leave a lot to think about but the above is my theory. We started off with Jack on the sand with his eyes closed then it pops open. In the end he is still there with his eye open and then is shuts. WOW.
PS.. I joined the facebook LOST support group. I hope to be able to "move on" too. Catch ya in the next life brotha! (I got chills just typing that!)
