London Gets Fist Punched Hardcore

Posted on the 26 September 2016 by Hendrik Pape @soundcheckblg

So here at Sound Check Entertainment we decided it was time to step out of our normal coverage again and cover something a little different for you, our loyal fans. And boy did we step out of the box!

"Five Finger Death Punch", "Papa Roach", "Sixx: A.M." and "From Ashes to New" all rolled into London's Budweiser Gardens for a Saturday night like no other we have experienced at this amazing venue. You could feel the energy as soon as we were escorted to the media pit to shoot photos of the first act "From Ashes to New" With a sound similar to older "Linkin' Park" they got the crowd which was starting to fill the arena fired up for what was going to be on one of the most insane nights I have covered yet for Sound Check Entertainment. For more information about " From Ashes to New " hit their website at fromashestonew.com

I was most excited for the second band on the bill, "Sixx: A.M." which is named rightfully so after Motley Crue famous Nikki Sixx who plays in the band. These guys were amazing, and the energy level in the arena just kept increasing each time we headed out to the arena floor. Check out " Sixx: A.M. " at sixxammusic.com

Papa Roach, one of the bands I listened to back in the late 90's were next up. It was interesting to see they still sounded tight, and still rocked the shit out of the fans. From creating massive mosh pits to encouraging crowd surfing, they kept the security boys busy for their entire set. Catch up with " Papa Roach " at www.paparoach.com/

" Five Finger Death Punch " or also known as " Death Punch " were in the headlining slot of this tour. And from the moment we were brought out to the media pit to shoot photos you could feel an energy I have never experienced. I even had one of the security guys I see at a number of shows tell me " this ain't no country music show " and that it wasn't. With a hardcore set just over an hour long the bodies were flying and Bud Gardens is likely still recovering today from the abuse it took last night. You can see the madness these guys get up too at www.fivefingerdeathpunch.com

The tour continues to march to Eastern Canada from London to Quebec City, Moncton NB, and the one final Canadian stop in Halifax before it heads back south of border. If you've never experienced a show like this before and are open to some "different" music - go check it out.
