My only photos of a SR-71 in flight were at the 1987 Travis AFB Airshow, taken with my trusty Olympus OM-1 w/ Vivitar 70-210mm shot on whatever film that was on sale. Trying to conserve my film supply to last the day. First flown in 1966, they were in service with the US Air Force until 1998. NASA operated two of them until 1999. Of the 32 built, twelve were lost in accidents. Negative scan with Canon, image processed with Aperture.
