Lockheed P-38L “Tangerine” warms up her engines before departing for another photo session over central Oregon. This was from the Madras Air 2 Air Experience air-to-air photography workshop put on in conjunction with the Erickson Aircraft Collection located in Madras, OR. This beautiful Lightning was purchased for only $1250 as war surplus in 1946 and was eventually acquired by Jack Erickson in 1994. Nikon D300 w/80-400mm, processing with Aperture and Creative Kit.
