I attended the Los Angeles County Airshow for the first time, plus it was the first outing with a new lens.  Here is a close up of the Thunderbird lineup at 600mm (900 equiv w/ DX crop) taken from the spectator fence.  The team transitioned to the F-16A Fighting Falcon in 1983, and upgraded to the F-16C in 1992.  The F-16 has been their aerial demonstration aircraft for the Thunderbirds for over 30 years and is their ninth aircraft type since the team was formed in 1953.  Nikon D500 w/ Tamron 150-600mm, processed with Aperture.
