While reporting on last week’s Fall Harvest Festival in Platteville, Colorado, excitable Fox 31 Denver News reporter Dan “Dano” Daru decided to take a moment during his live broadcast to interview (sort of) a toddler in a pushchair. It didn’t go well. In fact, it went really badly. ‘Drew the Farm Kid’ took an instant dislike to Daru and responded to the local news reporter’s suggestion that he looked like a (very young) Albert Einstein by bursting into floods of tears.

A clearly embarrassed Daru responded by saying, “This is terrible. I love that kid.” Poor Daru didn’t get much back-up from his colleagues back in the studio. “Way to go, Dan,” chided one of the anchors in the studio. “Way to make a baby boy cry on live television.” The moment has gone viral and raced to over 150,000 total views on YouTube.
