Abram Shook is all about feeling. They have an atmosphere, a power, that very few others have. From the moody start of lead off track “Never Die” with it’s ethereal beginnings to it’s psychedelically pounding chorus – to the ending of “Jaw” with church like synth sounds, the album never leaves behind the slightly off kilter mood. The Austin based band has exponentially moved forward in their craft, creating an album that is a multilayered and textured listen all the way through, an album whose tapestry is woven densely but never looses it’s way.
