Lifestyle | September's Gratitude List

By Megan Lillie @meganjanelillie
Disney x Cath KidstonSeptember has been a mixed bag of a month, lots of exciting stuff happening as per, but also lots of downtime too...
001 | Right at the very beginning of the month, myself and Carli (BABES HOW MANY TIMES DO I MENTION YOU ON THIS BLOG?) ventured off to sunny Scarborough to go see Busted for the second time this year! I was very lucky to get front row seats to the Open Air Theatre and it was just a wonderful evening. Busted are something that myself and Carli have really bonded over so it's class that we can fangirl together, oh, and we also met James' brother which was pretty cool!
002 | Yes, I went to London, again. This time, it was with work (Punky Pins) to exhibit at the London Edge trade show. It was my first time on the exhibiting side of a trade show and it was really fun! Not to mention the five days we got to spend in London, which I absolutely loved! I felt like a Queen with all the lovely places we ate and visited!
003 | As well as going right down to the bottom of the country, I also ventured right up to beautiful Scotland for a fun girly weekend! Staying in a super cool Yurt just outside of Stirling, we managed to pack so much stuff into such a short amount of time! We had massages, went for pints at the pub, went on a speedboat, went paddleboarding, went for a Sunday roast - all of the goodness you would expect!
004 | Probably one of the most exciting things that happened this month is that we got a house! That's right! Myself and my partner have finally secured our first place to live, mortgage and everything - wow, I feel like a right adult! The next few weeks are going to be pretty busy for me, with lots of moving, furniture buying and what not, so please excuse me if it's pretty quiet on Thumbelina Lillie for a while!
005 | We can't always be chirpy, can we? This month I was grateful that I took a little bit of time out as I have really been struggling with me, and that's all I can say right now. I've been having all sorts of overwhelming feelings and it can be difficult to put it into words so I'm heading off to the doctors to chat that over. Because of that, I've been a little bit quiet on social media, but thank you for your lovely words of encouragement - it doesn't go unnoticed!
