I love writing these life posts, I love to just let my fingers dance on the keyboard and do their magic, telling you a little bit of my story…In all honesty, it seems like everything that happens in life is happening to me right now, all at once. I went away to Bali this fresh-outta-University free-spirited girl and came back an engaged lady, looking for houses and starting a new ‘adult’ job. It’s like everything has hit me like a ton of bricks, but for once, I don’t feel like I’m drowning in it, I am actually quite enjoying the rush.
You know I’m engaged, so I won’t talk about that. But, we have actively now started the house-search process! We recently met with an advisor from Halifax to receive a lending offer so we can start viewing places that could possibly be a home for us. My partner is obsessed by it and I’m getting that way too. There’s something so satisfying about Rightmove! All the thoughts about decorating my own place how I like, living by my own rules is getting me so excited. The fact that I get to come home to my best friend every day, well, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
I also started my new job and I love it! I am now the Marketing and Social Media Graduate at Punky Pins, a North-East based hand-made designed pin, patch, and sticker company. I love being surrounded by so many brilliant products and getting to photograph them, run their social media and do influencer outreach. It is SO interesting to be on the other side of the situation. I’d really appreciate if you’d give them a little follow on Twitter and Instagram for me, hey, you might see something you like…
I’m currently the kinda-quiet girl in the office at the moment, but I’m sure it’ll come with time. I have always been the type of person who is shy until you get to know me, which is strange as I suppose I come across as mega outgoing on my social channels. Oh well.
BUT LIFE IS BLOODY FANTASTIC RIGHT NOW.
