Lesson from day 4 in #Iceland- beware of the wind. Unbeknownst to us, an epic winter storm has been hitting Iceland the last 4 days or so. Normally storms last 2 max but this one is really hanging on. We battled hurricane force winds to make our way to the south east part of the island. We saw a couple waterfalls, the black sand beach with basalt formations, and the amazing #glacierlagoon. We might be blown in tomorrow and unable to travel.
