Lenovo Unveils World’s Lightest 14-inch Ultrabook – ThinkPad X1 Carbon

Weighing in at only 2.8 pounds, the new Ultrabook will be a great choice as a MacBook Air alternative as it offers built-in 4G capability and up to 9 hours of battery life, promising “an 80% charge in under an hour.” ThinkPad X1 Carbon packs 4th gen Intel core i7 processors, 8GB of RAM, up to 512 GB SSD storage and a HD camera on front (check the full specs sheet for more info).

Pricing for this amazing piece starts at $1,299. Lenovo will ship the ThinkPad X1 Carbon later this month.

The 8-inch business tablet “comes equipped with the technologies professionals need to be successful,” as Lenovo claims. The tab can be connected to a keyboard to work as a desktop PC. ThinkPad 8 has a 8.3-inch 1920×1200 FHD display with 10-point multi-touch,  2GB of RAM, up to 128BG of storage, 8MP camera, microUSB 3.0, Windows 8.1 and an 8 hour battery life.

It’s basically an upgraded version of Microsoft’s Surface. ThinkPad 8 convertible will head out in January 2014 for a price starting at $399.
