Le Sage Belgian Amber – Brewery Creek Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Brewery Creek Brewing part of the brewery co-operative Callister Brewing in Vancouver comes their "Le Sage Belgian Amber". The beer pours an amber colour with an off white head. The aroama consists of sage, Belgian yeast, spices, citrus and a herbal finish. The flavour is of sage, tropical fruits, melon, Belgian yeast, spices and a herbal hops finish. The alcohol content comes in at 7%. I can safely say that I have never had a beer quite like this one. It was different in a good way and well worth giving it a shot.
