KIEHL'S MIDNIGHT RECOVERY CONCENTRATE REVIEW
I bought this right after I had finished my Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum. The name got me! Advanced Night Repair... Midnight Recovery Concentrate... the pattern is kind of obvious, right? And of course when I saw it in the Kiehl's beauty department I thought I'd give it a try, hoping it would be exactly the same as Estée Lauder product. It turned out to be NOT the same (serum vs oil? what was I thinking?) but lovely in it's own way. Now let me tell you more about it.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate offers overnight repair. It's 99,8% naturally derived and paraben-free. If you look at the list of the ingredients you'll see it's mostly made from oils of different kinds. Star ingredients are Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Evening Primrose Oil,Jojoba Seed Oil, Lavander Essential Oil and many others. All the oils give this concentrate quite a strong smell, very specific too I'd say. Make sure you do test it before you buy, especially if you are sensitive to smells!

Application-wise it's a dream. You only need a few drops (I usually stick to four) for your whole face, depending on your skin type. My skin seems to be a bit dry these days so it absorbes all the oils rather quickly, nothing 'sits' on my face in a few minutes after the application, there's no greasy residue, just a bit of shine that disappears within an hour or so. Anyways, I always use it before bed so shine is not really an issue. Kiehl's recommends that you follow this cocentrate with a cream of your choise. You can do it or just leave it at that, I like it with cream and without it too. In the morning my face looks well rested, smooth and plump. Love-ly! A single bottle would be with you for ages and ages, well worth the money. I'm not sure if it has any lasting effect yet (there are a few precious products that do provide it), but I'm happy with my face when I'm using Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

I'd recommend it to everyone who is suffering from dull complexion and is in a search for some serious boost. Great Kiehl's product number two and counting!
