True Blood’s Alcide, Joe Manganiello’s many achievements will be celebrated at The Palm Beach International Film Festival on November 1. Joe will attend a gala at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa (100 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach), where he will receive a career achievement award.
The gala, which celebrates the 20th edition of PBIFF March 26-April 2, 2015, also will honor the good work of founding CEO Randi Emerman, philanthropist George Elmore, who helped create the festival, and community leader Eva Hill, owner of the resort.
The actor, currently shooting the sequel to “Magic Mike,” knows both sides of the camera, having directed the documentary “La Bare,” about the eponymous male strip club. The film, a co-production with brother Nick, premiered at Slamdance 2014.
