Hello Metalhead! I bring you today a Neoclassical Power Metal guitarist called Jimi Mitchell who has released a new album entitled “Majestic Nightmares Part 1″ under his band’s name Dark Fantasy.

Jimi Mitchell is from Barboursville, West Virginia, and he has been playing guitar since 1991. Jimi’s musical solo project has been active since 2004 after leaving the group “Profligate”, when he decided to continue his musical career as instrumental heavy metal music player, releasing two instrumental full length albums, “Im For Real” (2005) and “The Intimidator” (2008).

He loves Metal and Classical music and this is perfectly reflected in each of his compositions, displaying a Heavy/Power Metal sound with many classical elements, giving as a result a sound very cool and showing us a great virtuosity as composer and solo guitarist.

“Majestic Nightmares Part 1″ is the Jimi’s third album, in which he continues his solo career now under Jimi Mitchell’s Dark Fantasy, in the second part of “Majestic Nightmares” will be removed Jimi’s name from the title and the name of the band will simply read Dark Fantasy. “Majestic Nightmares Part 1″ is an album which contains eleven tracks, two of them with vocals by Aaron Mitchell and guest guitar solos by Joe Stump, Matthew Mills, Mike Kerr and Alex Malmstrom.

Jimi Mitchell will release soon the second part of “Majestic Nightmares”, meanwhile we can enjoy fantastic intrumental tracks on this “Majestic Nightmares Part 1″. Songs like the amazing and epic “Illuminati’s Conquest” with a great guest solo by Joe Stump, “Shred For Life” with amazing and vertiginous guitar solos by Matthew Mills and Joe Stump, or the fantastic “Pirates From The North” with Alex Malmstrom are recommended tracks on the album which you should not miss.

“Machine Men” is also a nice song with vocals by Jimi’s brother Aaron Mitchell, which sounds really very cool and guitars on this track are fantastic. And “Brothers In Arms” is absolutely amazing with the great Matthew Mills, it’s really a highly recommended song!

“The Epic Struggle” is another great track in the album which I like so much, with the collaboration of Mike Kerr, it’s a fantastic track which you can enjoy by clicking the following link.
