Jeera Rice / Peas Pulao

Wash and keep aside basmati rice for 15 minutes.
Cook rice with little oil till its 90% done.
Drain and refrigerate it for 1 hour.
In a pan add,ghee,bayleaves,cloves,peppercorns,cinnamon,jeera.
Fry for sometime till it leaves aroma of fried spices.
Then add raisins,garlic,onion,cashewnuts and green peas and fry for some more time.
To this add cooked rice,lower the flame,add salt and sugar to it.
Toss the rice with rest of the mixture.
Sprinkle little milk on top,close with lid and on sim let it cook for 5 minutes.
Serve with Gravy or Side of your choice.
