Not quite over 9000, but if you can’t use Dragon Ball Z quotes from time to time, then we become poorer as human beings. What I’m talking about is my tinnitus, which screeches at me continually at a frequency of about 8000 Hz. To put that in context, it’s almost as bad as having Bieber sing “Baby” on repeat for every waking moment. I can tune it out to some extent when there are ambient sounds or speech to focus on, but in a quiet room, it’s maddening.
This might be why my estranged wife used to give me the silent treatment. All I can say is, “Well played.”
