Introducing – Carnival Youth

Posted on the 16 July 2014 by Spectralnights

Painfully young (they’re still in their teens) and hailing from Latvia, Carnival Youth belie their tender years with a folk sound that sits between Fanfarlo’s hazy dream-pop and the more traditional indie-esque ambience of Stornoway. With a grand, cinematic video to accompany ‘Never Have Enough’, the lead track from their new EP, the band has already found the knack of using simply enchanting visuals to accompany some gleefully jubilant sounds. They’ve played at the Great Escape, have a slot booked at Guilfest and Spectral Nights favorite Uncle Luc is playing show with them on 21 July in London (they also play London on the 23rd), we highly recommend you catch them. Watch the video for ‘Never Have Enough’ below.
