The importance of movie posters as advertising might be passing but SpaceWolf ltd. is turning iconic posters into artwork with their limited-edition wooden posters. The beautifully detailed wooden slabs depict well-regarded series like True Detective and classic films like Alien and Godzilla.
The permanent posters are 11.5 inches wide, 17.5 inches tall, and three-quarters of an inch thick. SpaceWolf laser engraves everything on United States-sourced cherry hardwood, which gives their handiwork a subtle, red sheen. There is a lot of care that goes into each piece, and they cut, sand, and oil the wood before the image is burned into it with a powerful laser.
