Verdict on Inside Man

Inside Man is a crime thriller following a disgraced cop who goes undercover in a notoriously dangerous gang. However, the deeper he goes the more difficult it becomes to get back out again.

This ends up taking us down a similar path to many of the undercover stories. It shows the risk of going undercover, while not really doing that much to expose them. I understand some if more to do with the draw of remaining in that world. However, not enough is done to show why the changes happen over time. Nothing in this film pulls you in and by the end it doesn’t feel like you have learnt too much either.

Where to Watch: Inside Man is Released on digital 20 November 2023.

Final Thoughts Inside Man is a thriller without any bite.
