Hi Metal guys! Today I want to introduce on MetalWind a brutal metal band form France, they are called Ianwill and they are promoting their new EP entitled This Day which was released on April 2013.
Ianwill was formed in Paris at the end of 2009 by four guys with the wish to create a melodic and emotional music in a violent, powerful and incisive metal atmosphere, and I think, they really have succeeded with an amazing final product highly recommended.
In Ianwill’s music we can find different influences like death metal and harcore music, where a blunt and aggressive sound is complemented by a great melodic part in each of their compositions, creating a fantastic melodic and brutal sound that no extreme metal fan should be miss.
The first Ianwill’s EP was released in 2011 with four songs from their usual repertoire in concerts, which connect very well with the public. After that, these guys feel the wish to go far away in the growing and evolution of Ianwill, and after some changes, they released in 2013 the second Ianwill’s EP called This Day.
This second EP contains six powerful and brutal metal tracks that strengthens the sound of Ianwill, achieving high quality in terms of sound and production. We can find on This Day EP great metal tracks like Fear Nothing, Expect The Worst, The Day That Will Never Be Remembered or Behind The Walls, and I also recommend paying attention to Fortune favors the Brave, which has great, agressive and poweful choruses.
Ianwill has today enough tracks to record its first album and I hope that these guys are able to offer soon a fantastic first album. Meanwhile you can enjoy This Day EP and don’t forget to leave your comments!
