Karachi: Ahead of Eid, the intercity bus owners have increased the fares.
Passengers say that passengers traveling from Karachi to Hyderabad are being charged a fare of up to 2 thousand rupees, while passengers going to Sanghar are being charged a fare of up to 2300 rupees.
According to the passengers, on normal days the fare is Rs 500 to Hyderabad and Rs 700 to Sanghar.
On the other hand, the bus owners say that the vehicles are coming back empty and diesel is also expensive due to which the fares have been increased.
