netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=Uniquename key=password
You should choose the SSID in place of Uniquename mentioned above. You should choose the password in the key section.
netsh wlan start hostednetwork
The above command is entered to start the hosted network.
You should make change to the adapter settings:
Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Centre > Change Adapter Settings
- Right click on Internet Connection
- Select Properties
The sharing tab should be selected and you should check ‘Allow other network users to connect’ and the Wi-Fi adapter name should be picked up.
Thus, you can establish Wi-Fi connection to other devices.
