There are over 156 million blogs (Feb, 2011 - Wikipedia) How would you define a successful blog in the 156 million blogs out there? The definition of success according to the dictionary is: The accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Here are my thoughts on my blog being successful (mine are more purposeful):
1) I'm happy blogging
2) I have met wonderful people through blogging
3) I have some wonderful conversations through the blog (Engagement)
4) I continue to learn something new everyday through the blog or for the blog
5) It inspires me to be better - I've noticed my writing at my day job has improved because of my blog (Writing more creative emails) and writing better business blogs
6) Blogging makes me a better person from meeting inspiring people here
When I started out blogging I did it for some friends who would ask my advice on about their websites and blogs - I never intended to write daily or as much as I have. But I found I enjoyed it - that's the key to success for me.
