Hip-Hop Reacts to Mike Brown Murder Verdict

Posted on the 25 November 2014 by Thetrophylife @TheTrophyLife

Shortly after 9 p.m. Monday night, news broke of the St. Louis County grand jury’s decision to bring no criminal charges to Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting and killing of unarmed teen Mike Brown, back in August. The verdict came to little surprise, as many anticipated the unfavorable decision, however, the announcement struck deep in the hearts of many across the nation. Members of the hip-hop community took to social media express their dismay with the decision. Protests ensued in major U.S. cities like New York and Los Angeles, and some hip-hop constituents even joined the peaceful protest efforts–without social media flaunting!
