Perhaps one of the most notable fresh collaborations of 2016, Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam (of The Walkmen and Vampire Weekend) played their first live show at Rough Trade NYC last week. The show took place shortly after their debut album I Had A Dream That You Were Mine was released. The show was impeccable — this duo brings so much talent to the table. Hamilton has his signature raspy voice, reminiscent of Bob Dylan, and Rostam adds the flare to what would otherwise be classic folk-rock. The songs were beautiful and heartfelt, leaving the audience in awe. It was a show for the books, and this collaboration is surely going to go far.
