Taken during a recent visit to Westpac Restoration, a warbird restoration facility located next to the National Museum of WWII Aviation.  This is the second Tigercat that I saw on this visit, the other one being inside the museum (see previous post).  Introduced in 1944, Tigercats served for ten years before being retired.  Starting in the 1960’s, Tigercats were used as water bombers to fight forest fires.   Nikon D500 w/18-200mm, processing with Aperture.
