By Wilcowings @WilcoWings

Mobile-Friendly SERP ExampleIf your current website isn’t mobile-friendly, it will start to drop in Google’s mobile search results after April 21, 2015. Google will be expanding use of mobile-friendliness by rewarding these sites with a higher ranking in organic search results. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in the search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimized for their devices.

What does this mean for your business? Get mobile-friendly or drop in search ranking for mobile searches!

Given how many people are now using mobile devices to access the Internet… and how that trend continues to increase over time… NOT having a mobile-friendly site is going to impact your target audience being able to get to your site.

Get clarity

To help with the transition to a mobile-friendly web, Google has provided several tools. You can start with Google’s mobile-friendly test. It will analyze your site and tell you if you are “mobile-friendly” in Google’s view. If it turns green, you’re all set. If it turns red, you can explore your options on Google’s mobile-friendly get started page.
