Giant Love For Glorious George ...

Hotly Tipped George Ezra has been a part of our personal playlist for a little while now with his single, Budapest (Which is free by the way). Since then, he has continued to wow a plethora of audiences, in exchange for the fantastic position in the industry he finds himself. He's quite likely to be one of our ones to watch next year and his latest single, Did You Hear The Rain?, offers various reasons as to why he'll receive that title.
Giant Love For Glorious George ...One of the first things you'll notice about him is the fact that he has one of the most mesmerising voices you're gonna hear for quite some time. Like a magnificent cross between the likes of Tom Odell, and Jamie N Commons, there's something seductively deep that is by no means conventional. However, the music he has managed to put it across in this is very much somewhere in between Arctic Monkeys, and something melancholically folky - maybe The Civil Wars.
Anyhow, further wandering into the unknown, will showcase his conviction in this single. He doesn't just sing along to the song, because, in all complete honesty, it's not as though he has the most technically perfect voice ... yet, he still makes any and every listener go weak at the knees due to his sincere strength and power. We dare you not to love this man.
Though it is quite a short song, he leaves a long lasting impression and, in comparison to his earlier single, Budapest, you'll notice some staggering differences. Budapest, though absolute beautiful, is as though it's performed by someone else. And that's just it ... other than the distinctive vocal, he is an absolute chameleon and showcases this time and time again. His versatility is of the utmost importance and we reckon he is the type of guy who could come back time and time again with something completely radical. You won't know what's hit you with this one, and we suspect massive things will happen to the name, George Ezra.
Also, as a final note, what a bloody cool name?!
Paul.
