IMG_9730“Let’s go to Opa!” is what I tell C when I feel like eating Greek food. George’s Greek Cafe has several locations, but I always visit their location on 2nd St.

In order to get the full George’s Greek Cafe experience, you need to order Saganaki. It is their signature appetizer, which consist of kasseri cheese flambeed with brandy and doused with kalamata olives and a squeeze of lemon juice. Flaming Cheese?! Yes! Flaming cheese, and it is mixed in front of you! So delicious!

I have been a fan of the restaurant since C & I attended CSULB and would love to enjoy our afternoons on 2nd street. The service is excellent and the ambiance is great.

You really cannot go wrong with any of the entrees. The portions are big, the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. If your 21 and over, you’ll enjoy their Monday special! Enjoy any bottle of wine at 50% OFF the regular menu price. Overall, I would rate George’s Greek Cafe a 10 out of 10. Check out the delicious entrees we ordered…
