Grand ReOpening! | Knott’s Soak City

It was extremely hot this past weekend, and I couldn't have been more thankful to have been invited to the Grand ReOpening of Knott's Soak City!

Grand ReOpening! | Knott’s Soak City

Orange County's largest outdoor water park has opened its gates for an unforgettable summer season running through September 10th.

During Knott's Soak City's opening weekend the water park debuted seven new slides on two new slide towers, Shore Break and The Wedge, a fully remodeled Longboard's Grill, additional seating areas and new spacious cabanas.

The Wedge , as you see in the video, takes you an on open-raft ride with several twists, turns, and unexpected dips. It was extremely fun! If you're a scary cat like me, this is a great ride for you, since it sits up to six riders.

Now, the Shore Break offers two types of experiences. It's a tower which is over seven stories high and offers six different thrilling water slide experiences. Four of the slides you climb into an exhilarating Aqua Launch chamber which sends you on a vertical free fall through a series loops and curves. Now if that alone, doesn't scare you... You are brave! I opted for the two dueling tube slides that take you through a series of drops and turns. Super fun!

Two other attractions I enjoyed were the Beach House and Tidal Wave Bay.

The Beach House offers three stories of hands-on water fun including interactive water guns, nozzles, and faucets. Meanwhile, in the Tidal Wave Bay, you could relax and enjoy the sun when the waves are "off" and shoot the curl when the breakers start rolling in!

Grand ReOpening! | Knott’s Soak City

This was my first visit to Knott's Soak City and I was impressed with how fun and beautiful the landscape was. It's a wonderful place to spend time with your family and/or friends as there are no age limitations. That's the beauty of Soak City; it's an attraction for all ages!

One thing I would like to point out is that as people arrived, they reserved seats with their towels, but no one ever seemed to sit. So please, if you're not going to use it, allow someone who truly needs it to sit.

Now, go grab your swimming trunks, sunscreen and plan your day at Knott's Soak City Waterpark before summer ends!

Disclosure: I have been invited to attend a press event with my family. All thoughts are 100% my own.
