Freezing At The Sea

By Ingridd @cosytraveler

It was the beginning of June. Normally, it’s the beginning of summer. There is sunshine. You can wear spring or even summer clothes. You can sit outside, and have something to eat and/or drink. That’s June. The beginning of the good times.

Not this June. That Saturday, the three of us were still wearing winter clothes. Sitting outside? Yes, if you wanted to catch pneumonia. Good times? With some imagination, yes.

Anyway, we had a look at the beach of Nieuwvliet-Bad:

Nieuwvliet-Bad is known for its beautiful beach and is basically a recreational area. While Lars stayed in the car, Vanessa and I ventured outside. We didn’t make it to the beach though, since a cold wind was blowing us away.
