Four Seasons New York Does Diamonds for Dessert

By Raymondleejewelers @raymondleejwlrs

This holiday season, have your cake and diamonds too at the posh Four Seasons New York. Talented Executive Pastry Chef Salvatore Martone has created the very decadent and delightful “$20,000 dessert” for December. The dessert was designed to promote a sparking Leviev diamond. Leviev is one of the largest private diamond cutters and polishers in the world.

If you are thinking about proposing this holiday season, here is a very unique way to do it. Head for the luxurious Midtown East hotel to dine at The Garden inside the Four Seasons. Enjoy an exquisite gourmet meal amongst a romantic forest-like setting of African acacia trees. Here you will be overlooking the towering Grand Lobby with its lovely art deco lamps and exotic black lit onyx ceiling. After dinner and a glass of the best house wine, it will be time to order dessert and ask for her hand in marriage.

The dessert will be an edible, elaborately decorated box filled with a luscious fondant cake and chocolate mousse. Surrounding the dessert will be Leviev’s pink signature bow. A ring box containing an intricate and edible spun sugar diamond sits atop the dessert. The real jewel, a 1.5 carat brilliant round diamond can be purchased at the nearby Leviev boutique. After dessert and her affirmation of eternal love, you will receive a certificate of celebration. This certificate will entitle you both to schedule an appointment with Leviev jewelers to be involved in designing the diamond’s setting.

If the time is not quite right or the wallet is not quite fat enough yet, you can take your girl for a drink at the Four Season’s TY Lounge and just dream. The dessert will be on display in the lounge for the month of December.
